Charges against 22-year-old William Riley Richardson or "Willy" as he's known, have been upgraded from attempted murder to first degree murder. He also faces several other charges including malicious wounding and attempted arson. According to police reports, Richardson attacked Sarver when he threatened to call police after Richardson beat a 17-year-old girl.

It's not a done deal... that's what House Majority Leader Morgan Griffith is saying about tomorrow's vote on a nearly one billion dollar tax bill.

Larry Nelson examined the shotgun Williams was holding when a chauffer was fatally shot.
Prosecutors say they inadvertently left the expert's notes and photographs out of evidence turned over to the defense.
The judge hasn't said when he'll rule on the defense request to throw out the charges.

A nationwide ban of the herbal stimulant ephedra will stand.

A federal judge in New Jersey is letting the ban take effect today, turning aside a challenge from two makers of the supplement.
The ruling doesn't affect medicines containing ephedra, such as prescription or over-the-counter cold medicines.
Ephedra is an herbal stimulant used for weight loss and bodybuilding. It's been linked to 155 deaths, including that of a Baltimore Orioles pitcher.
The dietary supplement makers argued ephedra can be safe if used as directed.

A zebra at a Nairobi park is not exaclty a horse of a different color, but its close.

The four week old zebra was born without the usual tell-tale stripes normally associated with the animals.
It was found at an animal park about four weeks ago.
Wildlife experts want to study the zebra. They say it is the first time they have seen this.
It wasn't the only surprise the animal has given them. The park has no clue when the animal was born. They just noticed it in the park one day.
