Police in North Carolina say Burton was driving southbound on U-S 29 when he apparently feel asleep at the wheel.

Harper was shot in the face Friday night in the 500 block of Rutherford Avenue.

Roanoke City Police say they have developed a suspect in the shooting, and will confer with the Commonwealth's Attorney on what charges will be filed.

Current plans call for a vote on raising sales and cigarette taxes that could break the budget deadlock.
The special budget session has already cost taxpayers 53 thousand dollars so far in expenses paid to nearly 60 of the Delegates.
All are entitled to 115 dollars a day for lodging and food.
38 have refused it, and five others are donating the money to charities.
The rest of the Delegates are accepting the reimbursements.
