A teenager and Bedford's fire chief are hurt in crash on Route 4-60 in Bedford County this morning.

The accident happened around 10:45 near Irving.
State Police say a 17-year old was driving a Chevy Cavalier West on 460 when he ran through the median.
He then struck a car driven by Bedford Fire Chief *Todd* Stone head on. Stone is listed in good condition at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
The teenager was flown by helicopter to R-M-H. Police are not releasing his name or condition, but say he was NOT wearing his seatbelt.

Governor Mark Warner announced today that Blue Ridge Wood Products will open a manufacturing plant in the former Woodtech building in Bluefield, VIRGINIA.
It's all part of a three-point-six million dollar investment.
The company will make laminate veneer lumber and hardwood plywood.
