The Arab TV station Al-Jazeera aired video footage Friday showing a U.S. soldier in the custody of insurgents.
The man identifies himself as P-F-C Maupin.
Private Keith Maupin of Batavia, Ohio, is one of two soldiers missing since an attack last week on a convoy near Baghdad.
U-S military authorities say they're trying to verify that he's the man seen in the video.
The soldier is shown sitting on a floor in front of masked gunmen. Aleen Sirgany is live in Washington with more on this ...and the President's promise that both he and British Prime Minister Tony Blair are standing firm on bringing democracy to Iraq.
