A Liberty University student who fell off a railroad trestle last week remains in critical condition.

Marlon B. Roman was apparently trying to climb this trestle in the "Blackwater Creek Natural Area" last Thursday when he fell more than 30- feet.
The 22- year- old suffered severe head and chest injuries and is being treated at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Police say alcohol WAS a factor in the accident, but have not been able to talk to Roman because of his condition.
Officials don't suspect foul play, but are still investigating the fall.

It could be career- threatening though.

Three current U-V-A players were arrested for a disturbance early Wednesday morning as police tried to investigate the shooting.

Then Salem's Philip Lomax will stretch to pull in this pass, and turn and burn for another Spartans tally in the 2nd half.

But Roanoke came out of left field with five runs from the eighth inning on and had a chance to win it in the ninth. Despite the loss Roanoke has a bright future with not one senior.

Former UVa guard Majestic Mapp is getting a chance to play one more season of college basketball.
