A Navy A-6 Intruder from Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach went down on Shawver's Mountain in the summer of 1993.
Authorities had to hike eight miles through dense woods to reach the smoldering wreckage.
The pilot and navigator both died in the crash.
The Navy took the A-6 out of service several years ago.

Volvo has signed a new contract to deliver completed trucks to customers around the nation. Beginning later this year, Swift Transportation will be hiring between 100 and 150 long-haul drivers, and 50 support staffers. Company officials say this agreement will benefit the area better because Swift employs mostly local workers, while Volvo's current transportation company uses a nationwide network of drivers. They add that with the new agreement, finished trucks will likely get to dealers and customers at least two days sooner.

School principals do a lot of unusual things to to inspire their kids. In Roanoke today one principal had to make good on a promise to kiss a pig.

The Accelerated Reader program was introduced to Fairview Magnet Elementary School to get students excited about reading. The students had to read five thousand books and pass a test. They exceeded expectations, reading more than SIX- thousand books. As a reward, the principal had to pucker-up for a pig. The program has been declared a success, and the school intends to use it next year.
