Taxpayers will pay legislators a total of about 65-thousand dollars for living expenses during the General Assembly's 55 days of overtime.
41 delegates agreed to accept the compensation of 115 dollars a day. Another 12 accepted the money, but said they'll donate it to charity.
All 40 senators declined to accept the allowances.
The per diem payments have not been mailed out, and some delegates could still elect not to accept the payments.
Legislators were paid per diems only when they attended sessions in Richmond.

Just before Christmas last year, Titans' head coach Bruce Mahan (MAN) died of complications from a brain aneurysm.
This coming Tuesday night - the two teams that Mahan coached in his high school career - Cave Spring and Hidden Valley - will gather at the Titans' soccer field and with the County's blessing - name the stadium in his honor before the start of the game.
