Fans will also have more places to watch the game.
Virginia Tech is putting in 23 new suites, which will add nearly 2 thousand seats.

Construction is currently on schedule but with a completion date of August 2005, Virginia Tech says fans will have to be patient during football season.

A Roanoke man faces felony charges after police say he used the Internet to solicit a 12-year-old girl for sex.
48-year-old Leonard P. Hudson was arrested yesterday by the Bedford County sheriff's office Blue Ridge Thunder Task Force.
Hudson allegedly solicited an undercover investigator posing as a young girl and arranged a meeting in Bedford County.
Police say he has prior convictions for drugs and sexual battery of a minor.

A FEDERAL judge today ordered him to serve another 41 months. Judge Jackson Kiser also fined Clower one million dollars.

Clower spent it on gifts and trips and to support an illegitimate child.
The I-R-S is now trying to recover more than 327-thousand dollars in unpaid taxes and penalties.

A Christiansburg girl solved a problem and won a nationwide contest in the process.

Fourth grader Nicolette Mann, won the Craftsman Young Inventors competition with her "Piano Pedals- that help children reach the pedals.
Mann noticed that her younger brother was not able to reach the pedals on the family piano and set out to solve that problem.
She's already won a 5,000 dollar savings bond and a couple of Sears gift cards and now has the opportunity to travel to Chicago for the finals.
Mann says she'll use the gift cards to buy the family a pool.
