(( Many folks in Tazewell County spent most of their night running from the rain.
Dozens had to be evacauted and THIS is one reason why.
Flash flooding ripped homes from their foundations.
State Police say one woman even had to be taken to the hospital after falling through her home's soaked floor.
Businesses were also hit hard, like this furniture store. Employees spent most of the morning trying to salvage what they could.
The flooding also washed away dozens of cars and covered roadway with water and debris in Richlands, Cedar Bluff, Middle Creek, and Raven.
Most of the major damage followed along Route 67.
Portions of that road and numerous other secondary roads are still shutdown.
V-DOT Crews are expected to work through most of the day, clearing roadways and fixing mudslides.
