A Roanoke business is now the focus of an investigation by the E-P-A.
Agency officials are being tight- lipped,

The road was closed most of the day while the agency's entire "Criminal Investigation Division" of Virginia searched the building.
Now, agents won't say exactly what led to the investigation or what they found, if anything.
Special Agent Susan Helbert says there are a number of circumstances that can lead to an investigation.

Special Agent Helbert says there's no reason for the public to be alarmed.

Virginia is making an all-out assault on drunk drivers, especially repeat offenders.

Governor Warner signed more than two dozen drunk driving bills into law today.
Most crack down on repeat offenders by requiring them to serve mandatory jail time and forfeit their vehicles.
For awhile drunk driving accidents were down in the state, but they're back on the rise.
The 25 new measures make Virginia's drunk-driving penalties among the stiffest in the nation.
Kaye Walsh who lost her only child, Robin, to a drunk driver seven years ago says the new laws should get people's attention.

The F-B-I is investigating after a bomb threat forces an American airlines plane to make an emergency landing.

Military jets escorted flight 306 to a Nashville airport after a flight attendant found a note saying there was a bomb in the cargo hold.
Authorities did examine what they called a "suspicious package."
A spokesman for Nashville International Airport says he doesn't know exactly where the package was found.
Flight 306 was on its way from Dallas to Boston - when the pilot requested an emergency landing.
The Nashville airport is where President Bush landed earlier today.
Air Force One has already taken off, and authorities say the president and his plane were in no danger.

Logan's mother, Cynthia Davis testified that Schermerhorn, her boyfriend at the time, refused to allow her to take Logan to the hospital one night after he had burned himself.

Though he has never been found, he is presumed dead.
Defense attorneys attacked Davis' story and pointed out inconsistencies.

Much of the high school district action that was rained out last night was played out this evening.
In the boys' River Ridge soccer semi-finals - Blacksburg needed double overtime to beat Cave Spring 3-to-1.
The Bruins will host Hidden Valley, a two to nothing winner over Salem for the tourney title tomorrow night.
The Blacksburg girls also won in soccer semi-finals nipped Cave Spring 3-to-2.

In Blue Ridge soccer action tonight Botetourt beat Northside and Byrd topped Alleghany 7-to-2 on the boys' side, while the LB girls whipped Alleghany 7-to-1, and Northside beat Byrd 5-to-3.
In Blue Ridge baseball - Alleghany picked up a win over Northside 5-to-1, while Byrd out hit Botetourt 7-to-3.
And in Blue Ridge softball Northside won the title with an 8-to-4 win over Byrd.
In three Rivers softball - Floyd stopped Eastern Montgomery and Glenvar shutout Auburn 2-to-nothing.
The Patrick Henry girls softball team - the best in school history saw its season end tonight on the road at GW Danville.
The Patriots lost 5-to-4 in a 15 inning game that covered parts of two days and featured a controversial play in the final inning that took a Patriot run off the board.

The September 11th game between Virginia Union and Livingstone at Victory Stadium is getting a huge boost this year from Pepsi.
The Cola company is placing an ad for the game on one million Pepsi cans that will be distributed throughout southwest and central Virginia.
