It's been eleven years in the making, and today thousands gathered at the Mall in Washington for the dedication of the World War Two Memorial.

It honors the 16-million Americans who served in World War Two, including the 400-thousand who lost their lives. President Bush spoke at today's ceremony, calling the memorial "a fitting tribute."
