Local politicians agree the electric cars will satisfy environmentally conscious global leaders as they drive around Sea Island next week. The cars are painted to represent the colors of each country that will take part in the summitt.

This time someone stole the fishing rods that Sheriff Andy Taylor and his son Opey carried down to the fishing hole.
It was just last month that the plaque was taken from the statue as well. It still has not been recovered.
The statue was erected just six months ago commemorating the Andy Griffith Show. (------------)
