(( The CBS broadcast 60 Minutes has been the latest news program to show photographs of U.S. troops killed in Iraq.
A retired Army officer (O. Halsey Hill/Roanoke) liked the idea.
"Thank you for showing the pictures of the U.S. servicemen and women who have been killed in the useless war Mr. Bush is having in Iraq. I hope this will not be the last time they are shown. There are many more who have been wounded and mutilated."
Another viewer (Lynn Watts/Rockbridge County) was upset that CBS and other broadcast networks decided not to carry the president's May 24th speech on Iraq, even though the White House had not asked them to.
"It embarrasses me that the former undisputed "major" networks refused to carry this information, this speech. Controlling information shouldn't be the job of the networks. But alas, it has become so with the former "Big 3". It is a sad, sad day for American when networks with such power screen political information. Our Founding Fathers are surely spinning in their graves."
If you see something that might make Washington, Adams or Jefferson twirl in their tombs, please send it on by US mail...fax...or email.

Kasey Kahne appeared headed for his first career victory but the rookie ran thru an oil slick laid down by the car of Casey Mears with just 18 laps to go ending his shot at the historic win.
