(------------)

[SUPER=03-Roanoke;]

On average nationally, gasoline prices have fallen two cents since June First; five cents in Roanoke. Triple-A officials say that's primarily for two reasons. First, OPEC agreed to increase production next month, which in turn, has slightly relaxed crude oil prices. Also, ALL oil refineries were required to switch over to the summer blend of gasoline this month -- which means the burden of paying for the more expensive blend is now off customers.
