With three fires in two nights, Montgomery County officials believe they are looking for a serial arsonist.

A total of four fires have broken out in the Oak Forest Mobile Home park in the last two months. This trailer caught fire around 4:30 yesterday morning. The owners had recently moved out. Firefighters were called back out to the park twice last night for two smaller fires.

Police believe they are looking for one or two people. Investigators also say the fires appear to be acts of vandalism and NOT designed to hurt anyone. A Richmond federal judge has refused to dismiss a lawsuit brought by state Democrats.
The lawmakers are suing the Republican Party of Virginia over two eavesdropped phone calls.
The state G-O-P had argued that its former executive director, Ed Matricardi, was NOT carrying out party policy when he intercepted the calls.
The judge ruled otherwise.
He did, however, limit Democrats to seeking only ten thousand dollars in damages.

The group is threatening to sue over a new state law regulating youth nudist camps.
