Authorities say eight people were injured in the shooting at the annual International Freedom Festival.
Reports that one of the victims died are still unconfirmed.
But police say they have the weapon that was used and a good description of the gunman.
This wasn't the first time a violent incident has occurred at the summertime event.
A woman was assaulted there in 19- 91.
The attack was captured on videotape.

A Henry County man is under medical observation after being charged with murder. The Sheriff's Office says 82-year old George Collins Carter of Axton was arrested yesterday morning after his stepson, William Jacob Wilson, died of a gunshot wound to the stomach. The shooting took place at Carter's home on Mountain Valley Road. The Sheriff says the 49-year old Wilson was trying to defuse an argument between his mother and Carter when he was shot. He died at the scene.

Counselors now wear blue shirts so they can be clearly identified.
There are new radios and an answering service so parents can be in touch after hours.
The camp has also hired a nationally recognized security team to keep an eye on things after dark.

Bedford residents have thirty days to let officials know what they want the city to do to stop harmful chemicals from seeping from an old landfill.

Tests show a half dozen residential wells have been contaminated by leaching from the former landfill on Bell Town Road.
An engineering firm has come up with several possible solutions, including treating the chemicals in the ground and building a water line to the affected homes.
