More information has been released about the mother and daughter killed in a traffic accident over the weekend.

State Police say six-year-old Betty Marie Sirry (Surry) and her mother, 44- year- old Joyce Marie Sirry were killed after being hit by a car as they walked down Route 460 in Shawsville.
State Police have charged the driver, 21-year-old Christopher M. Hight of Christiansburg with driving under the influence of drugs.
Additional charges are pending a review by the Commonwealth's Attorney.
