One of Roanoke County's largest employers is about to get bigger. Hanover Direct this week announced plans to move its "Company Store" distribution operations in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Sources expect the shift will create more than one hundred new jobs and a capital investment of more than one million dollars. A Richmond judge today reluctantly blocked a new law that inadvertently gives weekend workers a day off.

The judge granted a 90-day injunction but expressed reservations about fixing the General Assembly's mistakes.
