New jobs are on the way to Roanoke County. Hanover Direct this week announced plans to consolidate its "Company Store" distribution operations in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Sources say the shift will create more than 100 new jobs and a capital investment of more than one million dollars. Businesses throughout the state are breathing a sigh of relief. Today a Richmond judge blocked a new law that unintentionally gave weekend workers a day off.

The judge reluctantly granted a stay but said that it is not the job of courts to correct the legislature's mistakes.

The NBA is calling Mike Krzyzewski's name, but the veteran college coach doesn't plan to answer until Monday at the earliest.
