They're burning in three southern California counties, as well as in Yosemite National Park.
Parts of the park were closed, and hikers evacuated after a wildfire started by lightning grew to 13- hundred acres.

So two years ago the city agreed to make several improvements to the park which is located on Tenth Street between Kellogg and Grayson Avenue.

But since then very little work has been done leaving many to wonder if the project has been dropped.

Those obstacles are almost cleared and the city hopes to begin construction here at the park by next spring.
