As a result, opponents held a strategy meeting last night.

State Police say a tractor trailer overturned in the S-curves, just east of Montvale. The left eastbound lane is blocked. Cleanup is expected to take at least four hours.

A young man working at a movie theater in Buena Vista is charged with stealing a copy of "The Passion of the Christ" and trying to sell it on the Internet.

Twenty-two year old Dustin Benson allegedly took the film at the end of a week-long run at the Valley Cinemas in May.

He listed the movie for sale on e-bay, according to evidence presented in court yesterday. The owners of the theater didn't notice it was missing, because the picture was supposed to be picked up for its next engagement. Though theater owner Kay Smith was not hurt financially, she's still hurt.

Police have arrested the final suspect in an attempted break-in that led to the death of a man.

44-year old Timothy Willard Thornton has been charged with attempted breaking and entering. 43-year old Michael Robin Wilson was arrested on Thursday.

Authorities say Thornton, Wilson and a third man, Jerry Wayne Weadon, tried to force their way into a Pittsylvania County home early Wednesday morning. The homeowner exchanged fire with the suspects, apparently hitting Weadon in the back. His body was found in Henry County later that day. Thornton will remain in Eden, North Carolina until he waives extradition back to Virginia. (------------)
