The questions of what to do with Victory Stadium and the proposed stadium- amphitheater site have left Roanoke City Council divided. Today one councilman suggested putting the new site on the market while a committee looks at the possibility of renovating Victory Stadium. [***NEWS 7 @ 11 IN MONITOR***]

As Jennifer Wishon reports, the idea is not being well- received by all members. Shannon, today, in a letter to his fellow Council members, Sherman Lea suggested putting the new site on the market to gauge it's potential sale or lease value for the city.
