Twenty-four year old Joey Lee Joyce was killed. Steven Jefferson, also age 24, was critically wounded. A third victim, Michael Wood, is listed in fair condition.
Police indicated their dispute began at Blueberry Hill on Williamson Road, though the manager there says the only altercation he was aware of last night involved two WOMEN.

A surprise visitor to Iraq - the secretary of state decided to take
advantage of his Middle Eastern trip to visit Baghdad.
His message was one of support for the interim government thats been in
power for the past month - a month filled with violent attacks.
COLIN POWELL, SECRETARY OF STATE:
"THE LEADERS OF IRAQ ARE VERY COURAGEOUS. THEY PUT THEMSELVES AT RISK
EVERY DAY. WE HAVE TO MAKE THE INSURGENTS UNDERSTAND THAT WE WILL NOT BE

Powell told Iraqi leaders the US is now here as an ally - no longer an
occupier.

Fierce clashes erupted overnight in the volatile city of Fallujah when
insurgents attacked a joint US-Iraqi patrol. Marines responded with

The night-long battle killed at least thirteen civilians, demolished
buildings, and left fires burning throughout the morning.

Calohan had been hired to house-sit during the month of July for her neighbors, Errett and Linda Callahan.

Part of the scaffolding collapsed on top of five workers .. hitting three workers and trapping two others.
Fellow workers frantically jumped into rescue the men, but they were not able to save one of the workers.
Rescue workers had to work slowly because there was the danger that more scaffolding could collapse.
