State officials are not expecting the type of damage from these storms that Isabel wrought last year.
but they say the heavy rains may cause flooding around the state.
And Dominion Power says power outages caused by downed trees are anticipated.

Lt. Graham also warns boaters to be careful when putting in on creeks and rivers *after* the storm because water levels may have changed dramatically. The group is one of three swift water rescue teams in the state and the only one in southwest Virginia.

U-S- Airways today announced plans to cut non- stop service from Pittsburgh to three Virginia airports.

On November seventh, US Airways affiliates will discontinue flights from Pittsburgh to Roanoke, Lynchburg and Charlottesville. 17- other airports will also lose the route. The airline says the move is part of its "Transformation Plan" and that more cuts are possible once the U-S Airways Express network finishes its fall schedule.

Cadle has since been cleared of any abuse charges, but another nine months later, he still doesn't have his daughter. Last week he was thrown in jail for threatening a social worker, a charge he denies.

Officials say off-camera state law forbids them from commenting on a case. But thet did tell us, their goal is to protect children and ultimately reunite them with their family. And that final decision USUALLY rests in the hands of a judge.))

Pulaski County's Social Services Director tells me his agency develops a plan for getting a child back home. A judge must approve that plan and then decide when the family is reunited.

Governor Warner today issued an emergency declaration that increases the amount hospitals and physicians receive from Medicaid by 34-percent.
