This is the first time thAt at least I know of that we've had tropical storms or hurricans affecting the same state within a day of each other.
BONNIE IS THREATENIING THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE. GOVERNOR JEB BUSH HAS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY
BRIDGE: THE CONCERN HERE ON THE PANHANDLE IS NOT THE WIND, BUT THE POSSIBILITY OF FLOODING. THIS AREA IS ALREADY DRENCHED AND WITH SIX INCHES OF RAIN EXPECTED IT COULD CAUSE SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS.
But on the beach this morning...the few tourists were more interested in trying to salvage what they could of their Summer vacation.

A Bristol woman and her live-in boyfriend have been charged with felony child abuse for allegedly burning her two year old son with cigarettes.
Twenty-year old Jessica Rust and 26 year old Ernest Worley are both free on bond.
Detectives say a baby-sitter noticed the burns on the boy.
The couple said the burns on his chest, arms and back were accidental, but a pediatrician says they appear to be intentionally inflicted.
