With a golf course, there would only be up to 40 homes but at least one resident says any growth is too much.

And today, an employee was sentenced to probation.

Floyd County's Chateau Morrisette needs a new water system. The winery's insurance company threatened to cancel the insurance or quadruple the rates if a new system wasn't constructed. Congressman Rick Boucher announced this afternoon a federal loan of more than 175-thousand dollars will help. The 26 year old vineyard attracts more than 150-thousand visitors each year and employs more than 85 people in Floyd and Patrick counties. The new water system will be up and running next week.
