Around 7-30 last night, A-B-C investigators and Roanoke County Police executed the search warrant at the Moose lodge.

They say they broke up a game in progress where dozens of people were playing. According to court documents, they seized boxes of poker chips, decks of cards, and more than 2-thousand dollars in cash. It was the result of an month-long undercover investigation where agents say they paid 60 dollars to enter a Texas Hold 'em tournament, and organizers took a cut of the entry fee.

Other games were also allegedly going on in a back room with the house profiting from the action. One of the members did speak about the search, and called the games harmless fun, and cheap entertainment.

So far no charges have been filed, but state officials will be meeting with the Commonwealth's Attorney to determine how to proceed. A decision on that could come as early as next week.
