Clouds and showers are likely today with highs only reaching 70.
Metereologist Leo Hirsbrunner has the full forecast, coming up. But first, drivers on Route 220 can expect some delays this morning. An accident at the intersection of Rocky Road and Bent Mountian road has blocked one lane of traffic.

Police in Montgomery County say a nine year old boy accidentally shot and killed his two year old brother last night.

The sheriff's office responded to the call in the Alleghany section of the county around 7:30. When deputies arrived, they found the two year old boy with a single gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital and died a short time later. Authorities have not released the names of the family or the victim.

Roanoke County police say they are alternating lanes of traffic at this time, and are unsure when it might be cleared up.

Ralph Nader should know sometime today if he's won his battle to get on the presidential ballot in Virginia.

More than two weeks ago the State Board of Elections rejected Nader's petitions stating they were not properly sorted.
The State Attorney General ultimately overturned that decision and the petitions are now being reviewed. Jerry Kilgore says the petitions are being counted all around the state, and he expects to know if Nader has enough sometime today. Nader's campaign turned in more than 13-thousand petitions.
