The weather forced residents of the M & M Mobile Home Park in Galax to evacuate around 5 a.m.
Authorities there also report that numerous streets are closed.
The same is true in Grayson County, including Delhart Road, which is located two miles west of Galax.
Also, several trees are down.

While crews aren't able to control creeks and streams, Salem's Swift Water Rescue Team says it is prepared for the worst.
