Vick pleaded no contest to one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but that sentence was suspended. Vick was ordered to perform 24 hours of community service, fined 100 dollars and can not have ANY contact with the teenage girls.

The Southbound lanes of Interstate 81 through Wythe County have reopened after being shut down for several hours.

They were closed following a head on collision between two tractor trailers. The accident happened around 8:20 last night. State Police say a northbound tractor trailer crossed the median, and struck a southbound tractor trailer head- on near Interstate-77. One person was killed and two others were injured. The accident is still under investigation.

The governor's chief of staff says the letter was uncovered at a central postage facility, and never threatened Govenor Warner.

A federal bankruptcy judge in Alexandria today gave U-S Airways permission to continue its normal operations and alliances and partnerships with other airlines.
The Arlington-based company also received temporary permission to use cash from its loan from the federal government to fund its daily operations.
It's the second time in two years, U-S Airways has filed for bankruptcy protection.

A North Carolina man is back in custody after allegedly trying to escape from police. Danville police say 38 year old Michael Wyatt was wanted for *vehicular larceny* charges in North Carolina. After they arrested him, police say Wyatt kicked out the window of a police cruiser. He was quickly taken into custody. Wyatt faces charges of assault and battery on a police officer, escape, and malicous damage to a police car. He's being held at the Danville City Jail without bond.

Analysts attribute the drop to a plentiful supply and recent drops in the price of crude oil.
Nationally, the average price is a dollar- 89 a gallon.
