An eldery woman from Prospect is dead after her car was broadsided by a tractor trailer this morning.

State police say 82-year-old Mary J. Brown was trying to cross the westbound lanes of Route 460 near Appomattox just before 11.
She apparently never saw a truck headed west which T-boned her car and pushed it into a ditch.
Brown was airlifted to Lynchburg General Hospital where she later died.
No charges have been filed against the truck driver.

Another Tech football player involved in a late night party with teenage girls has entered a plea.

Suspended running back Mike Imoh pleaded no contest to one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Imoh received the same plea deal as quarterback Marcus Vick and wide receiver Brenden Hill. The three gave alcohol to three teenage girls at Vick's apartment in Blacksburg. Imoh was sentenced to 30 days in jail with all of it suspended. He must pay a 100 dollar fine and do 24 hours of community service. The university suspended Imoh from the season's first four football games.

Eastern Montgomery will host Craig County on Thursday and the EC Glass and Jefferson Forest contest moves to Thursday as well. That game will kickoff at 7pm at City Stadium.
