Good evening. I'm Shannon Young in for Jean Jadhon.
Ivan has been downgraded to a tropical storm but is still pouring lots of rain into the southeast. Forecasters expect the storm to continue on a northeastward path across the South, weakening to a tropical depression overnight. Along the way, they say some areas could get 15 inches of rain. Mobile Alabama is one of many communities along the Gulf Coast to suffer major flooding and storm damage. That's where Jennifer Miller joins us from tonight.
