The Roanoke River poured over its banks in the Elliston and Shawsville sections of Montgomery County this morning and it continues to rise.
It is still rolling through Salem, bringing back memories of serious flooding there a couple of years ago.
And the river has yet to crest as it flowed through the heart of Roanoke and into Victory Stadium.
Now it's on its way to the docks at Smith Mountain Lake- and a rise above full pond of about two feet.
