Its no coincidence its here in Florida---the swing state of swing

states. Polls show most voters have made up their minds, so the target in this first head to head match-up between John Kerry and the President is the undecided voter. GIGI GIDUMAL/NEW YORK RESIDENT: WE KNOW WHAT BUSH STANDS FOR, NOT SURE ABOUT KERRY
I REALLY DONT LIKE BUSH, BUT I DONT KNOW IF KERRY IS THE RIGHT PERSON ALSO
DREW LEVINSON/MIAMI: THE DEBATE MAY VERY WELL BE A HOT TOPIC HERE IN MIAMI BUT IN MANY OTHER PARTS OF THIS STATE THE RESIDENTS AREN'T EVEN THINKING ABOUT THE CANDIDATES GEORGE AND JOHN. RATHER THEIR MINDS ARE STILL ON JEANNE, IVAN, FRANCES, AND CHARLIE Those four hurricanes devastated parts of this state.
SKIP MISIASCEK/HURRICANE VICTIM: "FIRST WITH FRANCES, THEN JEANNE, SO IVE KINDA PUT IT ON THE BACK BURNER. 10s of thousands of people still dont have power, they couldnt watch the debate even if they wanted to and many of those who coulddont care. JOHN BRIER/HURRICANE VICTIM: ITS NOT REALLY A BIG THING ON MY MIND.
Its a big thing though for President Bush here today with promises of more aid for Hurricane victims. As President he has this stage to himself, but Tomorrow he shares THIS stage in Miami with Senator John Kerry... he'll be heading to Florida tonight. For them it's one of the last chances to sway voters as the curtain draws on the presidential campaign. Drew Levinson, CBS News, Miami. ))
