Police in Lynchburg have charged a woman with murder.

[TAKE APRISA of Linda Bailey Buffaloe]
Forty-two year old Linda Bailey Buffaloe is accused of fatally stabbing a man last night. Officers originally responded to 613 Wilton Avenue on reports of a malicious wounding.
When they arrived, [TAKE APRISA of Gregory Lee Campbell] they found 52 year old Gregory Lee Campbell suffering from a knife wound.
He was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A Singapore Airlines passenger jet flying between New York and Frankfurt has landed in England after a bomb threat.

But police believe the threat was actually a hoax.
More than 300 people were on board.
The flight had a military escort, as it was diverted to northern England.
An airline spokeswoman says indications are that the threat was a hoax, but investigators are still checking it out.
This is the fourth commercial flight diverted in Europe over the past eight days.

A spokeswoman for her daughter, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, says Leigh died peacefully yesterday at her Beverly Hills home.
She'd suffered from an inflammation of the blood vessels for the past year.
Janet Leigh was 77.

Another animal at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk has drowned. It's the second death in as many months. Zoo officials say Jesse, a 32-year-old female white rhinoceros died yesterday in a moat designed to keep animals in their exhibit area. Exactly what happened to the rhino is unclear.
The zoo was open at the time, but a zoo official says Jesse most likely drowned. A gazelle was found dead in the moat in August.

The announcement came this morning in Stockholm, Sweden.
