A man from Goochland County was killed in a car wreck in Franklin County this morning.
State police say the man lost control of his Jeep Cherokee and flipped several times.
Police say 24-year-old William Hermann was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident happened just after midnight on Route 40 in Ferrum.

Another major motion picture may be filming in Rockbridge County this fall. Paramount and Dreamworks are remaking War of the Worlds, and are looking at sites along the Maury River and Northern Rockbridge County. Officials say Stephen Spielberg and Tom Cruise have already visited the area and the studio has also begun looking into lodging and storage for props. Tourism officials say they don't have a deal done yet, but are optimistic. Filming for the movie is scheduled to start in November.
