They say that information came today during an emergency Cabinet meeting.
At least 27 people were killed in the attacks, which hit popular tourist sites at the end of a Jewish holiday.
The attacks targeted resorts that were packed with Israeli tourists.
Officials say Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Egyptian leder Hosni Mubarak agreed they must fight terrorism together.

A man from Goochland County died in an accident in Franklin County this morning.
State Police say the man lost control of his Jeep Cherokee on Route 40, flipped several times and was thrown out of the car.
Police say 24-year-old William Hermann of Manakin-Sabot (Suh- BOT) was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident happened just after midnight.
