Employees stood outside of Echostar for hours last night as police looked for a bomb inside.

Police say a bomb threat was called in yesterday. Authorities evacuated the building while a bomb-sniffing dog searched the area. No bomb was found, and employees returned to work. Police say they are actively looking for whoever called in the threat.

Police are still withholding the name of a Radford University student who fell from a balcony this weekend.

Radford Police say a 20 year old Junior from *Midlothian* was at a party on the third floor of an apartment building in the 700 block of Downey Street. Police say just after the midnight Sunday, the student tried to pull himself onto a railing to sit when he fell over.

He was found unconscious on the ground with minor visible trauma and taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he remains. Investigators say the railing did not appear to be faulty. Police have NOT ruled out alcohol or drugs as a factor.

Roanokers wanting to help children in need took to the streets this weekend.

The *CROP Walk for the Hungry* began outside the First Presbyterian Church on Jefferson Street and made a four-and-a half mile circle around Roanoke. The walk supports the work performed by the Church World Service for disaster relief, providing food for the hungry, and in educational efforts throughout the world. 75 percent of the proceeds from yesterday's walk will be distributed nationally. The rest will stay in Roanoke to help feed the hungry. The walk is over 50-years old, and last year alone the group raised 18-thousand dollars for the poor.
