State Police arrested 22 year old George Donald Merix of Ripplemead this week on two counts of embezzlement and two counts of fraud. A drug raid in Wythe County leads to the arrest of a man wanted for murder. Investigators say they raided an apartment on Third Street this week and arrested three men for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.
