A Roanoke man was shot and his girlfriend abducted early this morning on Old Spanish Trail.

Police say two men entered an apartment- shot 31 year old Vincent King in the neck, abducted his girlfriend and took off. Police found the suspects' car a few minutes later and found King's girlfriend unharmed. King was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition. Police were able to catch up wtih two suspects. Maurice White and Wayne McDonald- -both 36 and from Roanoke.. face malicious wounding, abduction and firearms charges. They're being held in the Roanoke City Jail without bond.
