As we told you earlier, ten people associated with Hendrick Motorsports were killed yesterday in a plane headed to Martinsville.
The team's first win came in Martinsville with Geoffrey Bodine behind the wheel 20 years ago this past spring.
Ironically, a Hendrick car went to victory lane in yesterday afternoon's Subway 500 at the track, as Jimmie Johnson took the checkered flag for his first career short- track victory.

Johnson was unaware of the plane crash and its circumstances prior to the event, and didn't learn about it until the race was over.
17 cautions slowed the action.
Ricky Rudd went on a spin, thanks to Jeff Green.
Then later, Rudd is on the other end, moving Robby Gordon up and out of the way.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. had a miserable afternoon.
Junior had all kinds of problems, and was never a factor, finishing 33rd.
Kurt Busch expanded his points lead to 96 over Jeff Gordon with a 5th place effort.
But it was Johnson who held off Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman, and Rusty Wallace for the win.
Johnson did not do any post- race interviews, and the victory lane ceremony was cancelled in light of the day's events.
All four Hendrick drivers went right to the Nascar trailer after the race.
