They were successful in getting the county to deny Kahn Development's request for nearly a million dollars in tax incentives.

A Blacksburg man is the second person to be arrested for last weekend's shooting of three people in Radford.
Kerry Wayne McPherson, Junior of Blacksburg is charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
A New York man also faces charges.

Investigators are searching for the cause of the fire that destroyed a historic tobacco warehouse in South Boston.

Crews from around the region were called in to fight the fire and keep surrounding businesses from being damaged.
