Boeing designed these planes so they can be flown on one engine. The pilots had the plane on the ground in Roanoke within about ten minutes. A Craig County middle school teacher has been charged with a crime against a minor. Gregory Todd Baker is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.
School officials say the allegations arose from an incident at the school. Baker was put on leave with pay when the incident was reported. He is free on 5-thousand dollars bond.

In some states, this is the first election voters will cast provisional ballots, but here in Virginia it's been a long time practice.

Richmond Bureau Chief Jennifer Wishon is here to tell us more about this election day procedure. Jean, Virginia is actually ahead of some states in that it's offered something similar called "conditional voting" since 1975.

It has to do with re-districting and elections- saying when re-districting takes place, an elected official would continue to represent the original district for the full term.
