(XXXXXXX)

[TAKE LEADER 210]
A well-funded challenge in the Ninth Congressional District falls short. Incumbent Democrat Rick Boucher wins by some 20 points. [TAKE LEADER 200]
In the Fifth District, incumbent Repbulican Virgil Goode survives a challenge from Democrat Al Weed. The margin there about 26 percentage points.

You can expect challenges in some races.
In Radford, the races for Commonwealth's Attorney and Sheriff are seperated by just a few votes.
And in the Bedford County School board race, *one* vote is making the difference.
