Voter turnout numbers in the Roanoke Valley continue to straggle in.
But, election officials say so far, so good.

Myranda Stephens is at the precinct at West Side Elementary school with an update.
Shannon, as of 3 o'clock this afternoon, Roanoke City is reporting a turnout of 48 percent, Roanoke County at 55 percent, and the city of Salem at 54 percent.

Now, we knew that more people were registering this year, but the question was, just how many of those people would actually go to the polls on election day.
