Traffic is moving again on Interstate 77 after an early morning accident involving two tractor trailers and two cars closed both lanes in the Rocky Gap area.

(++++++++++)

[TAKE ACCIDENT MAP FS -E604] The accident happened around four-thirty at mile marker 64 in Bland County.
Police say the driver of a tractor trailer lost control and overturned.
Two cars then hit the wrecked big-rig.
A second tractor trailer swerved to miss the cars and hit the trailer of the first one, tearing it in half - spilling V-8 juice across the road.
Traffic is moveing along the right shoulder of the road, but both lanes are closed while crews clean up the juice. No one was seriously hurt.

The train driver and five passengers died after the locomotive hit a car at a crossing. At least eleven people were injured. Authorities say it's too early to say why the car had been on the crossing, which had automatic barriers that blocked one lane on each side of the track. Police say at least eight cars derailed and one was split in two by the force of the impact.

North Carolina authorities are looking into an outbreak of E. coli illnesses in the state. 31 cases have been verified so far -- 27 of which were from people who had visited the North Carolina State Fair in October. Health authorities say the focus is now on people who were in North Carolina since October Eighth and became ill on or after October 15th. This is the largest E. coli outbreak in North Carolina since 2001, when more than 200-children became sick.
