State police officials say Southwest Virginia was home to three fourths of the close to 80-suspected methamphetamine labs found in the state this year. Washington and Smyth County authorities each busted 19 suspected meth labs, while 19 more were found in Wythe and Pulaski counties. That compares to 34 raided statewide in all of 2003. Law enforcement officials plan to hold a statewide summit in Richmond, to address how to stem the spread of meth.

After a weekend sequestered in a hotel, the jury in Scott Peterson's double murder trial is getting back to work today.
So far, jurors have deliberated for about 20- hours, and have asked to see some evidence.

An animated movie had an incredible weekend.

Disney-Pixar's "The Incredibles" took the top spot at the box office by taking in almost 71 MILLION dollars.
The film about a superhero family who has to learn to live as normal people made more money than the rest of the top ten COMBINED.
And the figures show it is not just children going to see it.
Forty percent of those people who saw it this weekend were adults without kids.

The only other new picture released this weekend, was anything but incredible at the box office.
Despite playing in more than two thousand theaters, Jude Law's "Alfie" only brought in a little over six million dollars.
That was good enough for fifth place on the weekend list.
