Good evening. I'm Shannon Young. Jurors announced their decision today, more than five months after the trial started. The panel got the case last week but has had to restart deliberations twice after alternate jurors were brought in. Then, Wednesday, they lost their foreman. The prosecution contended Peterson simply didn't want to be married anymore and had his then-girlfriend testify. The defense has said all along that someone else committed the crime. All parties will be back in court later this month for the penalty phase of the trial. Teri Okita is live in Redwood City with more.

Today, the school board accused supervisors of trying to illegally exert control over the division by holding their money hostage. School board members say the company that provides the county schools with food is now requiring a cash on delivery payment because they were unable to pay the bill on time. Teachers are also being affected. A past president of the Education Association says teachers were told they WILL receive their paychecks at the end of the month.
