AIDS groups say the slow implementation of H-I-V - AIDS treatment programs in six Caribbean countries could jeopardize millions of dollars in grants from the Global AIDS Fund.
The group says a year after the Global Fund approved money for them, the nations still haven't launched treatment programs.
Officials say the disbursement has been bogged down by administrative wrangling.
Approved funds that are not used can be rescinded.
The Caribbean has the second highest rate of H-I-V infection in the world.
