Tech will meet the Hurricanes in the stadium tomorrow afternoon, and if the Hokies win the game, they also win the A-C-C title outright in their first year in the conference. Earlier today in Southside, a log truck and a car crashed, killing a man and injuring his wife.

It happened mid-morning in Halifax County. State police say this Cadillac was turning onto Route 501 North from Route-40, when it was broadsided by an empty log truck.
The car's driver, 70-year-old David Stover of Charlotte, North Carolina, was killed instantly.
His wife remains hospitalized in Lynchburg.
Police do not expect any charges.
